On March 3, 2011, Representative Jim Sensenbrenner (R-WI) introduced legislation that would prohibit the Secretary of Transportation from providing grants or any funds to states or local governments to be used for any program to create motorcycle-only checkpoints (MOCs).

A fork in the road brought a new episode

According to Jefferson, the very existence of NHTSA runs counter to what America is supposed to be about and using tax money to fund them, and these checkpoints, is immoral.
You do get a feel for what a state legislatures price is, though.

By-the bye, if you look around the AMA's site, there is a form letter to send to your representatives and a gizmo to find out who they are, in case you don't know already.
