No doubt that dude can drive none of trailers I pull has a hay wagon tongue . I'm sure if that had been a 65 foot 5 axle low-boy it would not have turned out the same  Shocked

I reckon you might have just let that 5 axle trailer drop down the hill a tad to get the turning room.   Grin  I enjoy reading about your adventures with the really big loads.

when i was a kid we had a long horse trailer (6 horse i think) with that type of tongue....i have never known why it was built like that, never saw dad do a turn-around like that, and he was a truck driver! that is amazing.
