I found my painter, he said the bags should be ready at the end of the week, only problem was he didn't say which week.   The one problem i found with these bags are they have a bump out on the inside which is now on the out side. only way i could get them to mount up close to the bike. So now my fat lady will look like she has bigger hips. Being black i hope they look ok, if not you will see them on e-bay and i will start over. Its only been a few weeks, so i can wait a little longer, its mushroom hunting time here and i never miss it.

I'm looking forward to seeing them painted and installed I'm bettin' with the way they are shaped they will look good on the Valk....Don't forget to post a few pictures when you get'em done. And good luck with that painter I've NEVER met one that did what he said he would as far as getting your job done when they say they will.

If you want to mount those bags close to the Valk, get a used set of Honda OEM leather bag mounts. Some dense foam or pipe insulation would work to cushion the bottom of the bags.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

What are the bags off of? I think they will look good. I think you should paint it like my HD bud did to his fairing. Gets alot of attention!  Grin Shrooms? Already? You live in the south  Wink I guess, been way to cold up here!
