My old EMS partner does mine. She wants no $$ for it but I always throw a couple 20's her way for her time. This is the 1st year Kit gets back more then me. Throwing all mine into my Sturgis fund. guess I wont be paying off anything with it.

Turbo-Tax the last 4 years, It's really painless. Just make sure your belly is full before you start and you have no distractions Wink This year was more complicated and I knew I was gonna owe Uncle Sam big. I used a CPA this year, so it's on him if there's any error in how much I owe coolsmiley

Okay, everyone knows how cheap I am.

We go to the local tech college and have ‘em done for free!!  We’ve been going there for the last 15 years, we have them check our taxes itemized, individual, EZ, every which way just to get the most back.  Turns out, the best money is if my wife and I were divorced.  I keep telling her, but she won’t sign those darn papers….. wife does mine  I would rather have the stick in my eye

I give Bonnie every penny I make plus access to my operating account and that is fine with me, she is one in a million    All I need is my small motorcycle account and a credit card and the ability to leave on a trip whenever I say I need to and thats what I do

I have a pic of a gal in a t shirt that describes what I really think of  the subject  but it cant be posted here

if you email me at work I will send it  evanrogersesq@optimum.net

Refund? whats that I pay quarterly being self employed plus the 15% ss tax

I wouldn't mind it so bad if I didn't have to write a big old honking check every single year. I use TT also but really do hate to see this time of year roll around!

I do mine online thru the fed and state free ones after I do it long hand, not a problem since I was 16.(and business's in some of those years.)

I remember in HS govt. class we done taxes, all the other guys made .20-.50 more per hour than I did at the "elite" jobs. They started touting how much they would get back. I got 4 times as much back as any of them, they settled down then, I worked more than their 2-6 hours a week !!!

I have been using Turbo-Tax from almost it's birth.

I just counted the envelopes, 1 per year, in the storage box, count comes out to 25.     Yeah, I know that is more than ya wish to know.

Was in business for my self also, so I have retained records mucho longer than needed.   This was after my CHP days.   Son has the shop now.

If we were on the FairTax we'd NEVER be wasting our time and money filling out tax forms.

Ever again.
