I received  my new ISO Highway pegs for the Fat Lady.  They are the ones with the six inch arms that can be locked in several different locations to get them exactly where they are most comfortable.  I have the right one on and tonight will get the left side installed.  They are going to be just the ticket for stretching out on those long runs this summer.  And they look good too!

Scraping the pegs is a normal occurance when riding with The Wild Bunch!  I had a set of Midland pegs on the bike with the full floorboards on them and they dragged a lot.  I think these pegs will be a little better because I am positioning them closer to the engine.  I will use them primarily on longer rides where the intent is to get from point A to point B.  When I ride with Joe and friends, I'm pretty much on the regular pegs.  The Fat Lady has been waiting on me patiently for the last three weekends while I have been teaching but we will be riding this Friday.  Some friends are coming into town for a memorial ride for Fred Childress.  Fred was killed in Glacier Park in Montana last year when an Indian woman under the influence of alcohol crossed the center line and hit him head on.  We will probably ride to Bald River Falls, ride the Cherohala and the Dragon, which was our last ride with Fred.  If anyone wants to join us, we are meeting at the Lenoir City Exit Friday at 9 A.M. at the Big Stop and Go right off the exit.  As Joe says; Bring it Lets Ride!

I have that problem with my Cobra floor boards scapping. Those will be expensive to keep replacing. An HD buddie told me to slow down and you should not have that problem anymore Grin Apparently he has never ridden a Valkyrie before.

David Yassemedes, his brother Johnny is flying in from Boston and will ride David's Harley.  David will ride his Goldwing.  Albert Lee will be riding his BMW and me on the Fat Lady.  I will call Joe to see if he and others in The Wild Bunch can join us.  Weather looks cool but dry so it should be a good ride!
