I noticed the new Dennis Kirk catalog lists a Factory Pro configuration 10 carb kit on page 722. Supposed to give better performance while still using the stock air box. Has anybody tried it? Pros/cons? MPG? Dyno?

frye.... i've purchased this kit, and used it.  they make ntop of the line jets/etc.  in their directions, you leave the stock air-box alone, and stagger the jets in size to the different carbs.  at that price, i would buy the kit just for the jets, and tool.

Where the trade off from ride-ability for horsepower becomes burdensome.

Not to mention the diminishing returns from greater expenditures.

How did it effect you perceived horsepower and MPG?
