Hey guys, its been awhile.  Been busy lately with a lot of stuff and honestly just wasn't motivated to keep up with the VRCC.  That said, I missed/continue to miss you all lol.  I see some of you guys on facebook every once in awhile, but even then I'm guilty of not saying hello, so im sorry.

Anyways, I'd love to hear anything new that ive missed, so Ill share the interesting points of my life for those that care.

Birthday was last month, went fine, no I don't feel any older haha.

Still hanging out with Brian/Bsnicely, keeping him out of trouble.  Trying to convince him to start modding his 350Z haha.

I've started running media at my church every week.  Was good for me since I really hadn't gone to church since Dad passed, so this gave me motivation to get back in.

Cars have pretty much completely taken over my life.  Did a full exhaust on the RX8, started doing autocross races twice a month, and I'm learning to drift.

Finally brought myself to sell Dad's truck.  Mom gave it to me and told me it was mine to do what I wanted with.  Kept it for 2.5 years for sentimental value, but I've finally gotten to the point where im ok with the memory.  Sold it to my cousin's in-laws, so I know where it is and that its in good hands.

Buying a new project car this week with my buddy.  1989 Toyota Supra that we are doing a full 7MGTE turbo I6 engine swap into with a lot of aftermarket.  Will be building it as a track car so stripped interior and lots of power.  Doing all the work ourselves, so it will be an awesome learning experience, not to mention the pride in being able to say we built it. Hope to be done relatively soon.  Still need to fabricate intercooler piping and an exhaust, get a new fuel pump, get some coilover suspension, and modify the steering rack to allow for further lock for drift control, and then its off to the dyno for ECU tuning.  Hoping to put down 400-450 HP at the rear wheels.

Also, for anyone who is in the area, Ill be in TN this summer with family, I'd love to see some my buddies from TN.  If Brian can work his schedule out we'll be taking the cars to deals gap as well.

And Stan, I'll be in atlanta this May for Formula D Round 2 drift event.  mom said you'd come out with us if we went? Wink

So anyways, Ill end my boring rant here.  Once again, sorry for not being in touch as much as I wish/should have been.  For anyone new who doesnt know me, Hello for the first time haha.

Hey Cowbell, if you're ever over towards this way, get on the Texas board and let us know.  I'm sure we'll be able to wrangle up a ride to whichever track you're at.  I'd be willing to bet that anyone with a Valk is also a gearhead at heart.

FYI, an F1 track is supposed to be built here in Central Texas and the first F1 event is slated for 2012.  It will most likely bring in all kinds of other motorsports events throughout the year.
