I purchased a set of Progressive springs and have access to the required special tool.  Is there anyone in Georgia that has installed front springs on the Valkyrie and would be is interested in helping me with the installation.  I would pay for the the help.  Thanks.

It is really not very difficult.  Check out www.tech.bareasschoppers.com  He goes through step by step with the 1800VTX and the Valkyrie is the same.  Excellent pictures are included.  I would at least attemp it.  The hardest part is on the right side pulling down the tube and slipping the clip back on.  Make sure that you write down the measurements he talks about and you should be in business.

I just did it myself also a few weeks ago.  Really not too bad as long as you have the Honda tool for the left fork.  Pretty much followed the shop manual, but the link bikerboy1951 provided is very good!  First time I've seen that website.  I replaced the seals & oil while I had them off too (@ 80K+ miles).

If you are replacing oil, you will need right at 3 pints if you don't spill any  cooldude

If you are replacing seals, here are some things to remember (as done per the steps from the shop manual):
I inspected both the slider & guide bushings and they looked great.  The dark gray teflon coating that needs to be inspected for wear is on the "inner" surface of the guide bushing, and on the "outer" surface of the slider bushing.

As done per the manual, when you drive the oil seal back in place, you are actually driving the oil seal AND guide bushing at the same time.  Its much easier if you drive just the guide bushing (topped off by the backup ring) first, then drive the oil seal on top of that second.

I used a piece of PVC to drive the "inner" parts back into place per Rattlebars idea and it worked just fine...
