The local news just reported that two bikes collided with each other tonight.  The were lane sharing and "bumped" into one another.  Here is the rub one rider was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries and the other rider fled the scene after the accident.  WTF did not help the other rider or anything.

There was a follow up report.  The biker died the next day and they did find the other rider.  They had both been drinking and were speeding at the time of the accident.  They are still looking for other witnesses to find out the whole story.

I have several friends that have fallen victim to the same situation.
