That outta be a good one. I think he and Edgar started playing the blues at Texas roadhouses before either of them was 15.

Sounds like a lot of fun !!!

Love listening to the blues. Years back when we lived in St Petersburg FL. used to go out to this place  and listen to this blues band. The lead singer had a leather belt that held numerous harmonica's. They really put on a show.

Have not seen any thing close to what they put out since !!! Of course I do not get out as much either. To busy with grand kids and riding the valk.   Grin Grin Grin

That is a great place to see a show. Back in the late 70's or early 80's I saw Sam and Dave, Levon Helm and a highly energetic band called "Blue Sparks from Hell'" play there.

It's like seeing someone play in your living room !

cooldude I wish I was there to see him, saw his brother in mid 70's in Atlanta at the Omni.
I always liked Johnny's music better, but in those days he was having some bad drug problems and wasn't touring much....the late sixties he was a sell out performer.

I think it was on an album called Entrance, maybe their first album and featured Johnny and Edgar. Lota time has passed since then though. I could well be wrong.
