Based on the information you gave, I would start with checking the CB plug under the seat.  It is the large round connector that is located next to the radio.  Unplug, clean, replug.  Let us know if the error persists...and maybe what the error message said.  Might be helpful in troubleshooting the issue.

When Mine does that, I just turn off the radio and turn it back on. Usually that does the trick.

Could try unhooking the battery too, to allow a reset.

As was stated above, check the plug that connects to the radio.  I unplugged mine once and got the exact error.

let us know what you find out.

I had the same error a few years ago but fixed it.

The problem is the CB isn't getting any voltage.

Remove the right panel and locate the Blue 20 pin connector.

Look at this schematic and you will see a LT/GREEN/BLACK wire at pin 2.

http://www.rattlebars.com/valkfaq/schematics/rpage09i.html
Turn the ignition key on or to ACC.
There should be 12 volts.
On the schematic you will see the 3P MINI WHITE Plug.
Check the voltage on the LT/GREEN/BLACK wire connector. Its a small white plug under the right side panel. If your not getting 12 Volts then there is a short in the 20 pin connector. Just put a jumper wire to bypass the 20 pin connector to the white 3P MINI Plug.
