We had aq great ride Friday.

Four of us met in Lenoir City yesterday for a ride. David Yassemedis and his brother John from Boston, and Wimp met up and headed for the mountains. T-bird was going to come up from Cleveland to ride with us but had to work at the last minute. Rode over to Tellico via 361 and stopped in for coffee and a snack. I bought a tank bag for the fat lady at a neat little bike shop. From there we rode to Bald River Falls. With all the rain we have had the falls was fantastic with blowing spray just like you see at Niagra Falls! The Cherohaha was closed because of snow so we rode back up to 129 and did the Dragon. There wasn't any traffic on the Dragon so we rode it hard to the Resort. A cup of coffee and back down to the Foothills Parkway. The pulloffs on the parkway had tremendous views of the snow capped Smoky Mtns. a little over 200 miles with good friends, good roads and cool winds!
Smokin Joe just called. He will be home tonight and we are meeting at Hardys in Clinton Sunday morning at 9:30 for another ride! We have been blessed with three days on nice weather and we are taking full advantage of it. I have to clean the bike for tomorrow's ride as it did get pretty dirty Friday. Don't want Joe bad mouthing me about a dirty bike! Pics later.
