Chaparral-Racing Jets

  After reading through this site, I found that Chaparral-Racing was pretty well recommended as a source for Keihin jets.  I ordered both slow jets and main jets.  They came the other day.
  Here is what I found.  Two of the slow speed jets were genuine Keihin jets.  They had the "K"  and size on the side.  Also they had the screen inside the jet.  The others were made by someone else and they did not have the screen.  After checking, they also were not the right size (not 35) as stated.  One of the mains was genuine Keihin and the other five were off brand.  Again the were not 100s as stated on the top.  Genuine Keihin main jets have the "K" and size stamped on the side of the jet, not on the top as these off brand did.
  I just got off the phone with Chaparral and customer service is checking into it.  I asked aboput returning the off brand jetsa and they did not give me an answer.
  Curious as to others experience with Chaparral and if you received the correct jets or after market.

next time try SUDCo for jets....good prices and easy to deal with....YMMV

Never again for me. Chapparal only shipped 3 of the 6. When I tried to tell them I needed all or nothing they tried to charge me $10 each "restocking fee". Talked to a bunch of folks up the line and never could get anyone to help. Immediately afterwards the credit card I used ended up with lots of bogus charges from strange companies and I had to have the card company cancel the card number to stop the bogus charges. A real mess. Horrible customer service. I should have searched for reviews and complaints online regarding this company before I used them.

I went with Rocky Mountain ATV ( www.rockymountainatv.com ) and they had the best prices, shipping was fast although if I remember correctly one of them was NOT Keihin parts but a no name type. But all of each set were of the same manufacturer. I think I gave $44.xx total cost to my door.

Strange! Although I got my larger slow jets from Sudco some years back, a number people I know got their jets from Chapparal with no problem. So far I've installed six sets of #38 slow jets for other riders and have never seen any with a screen in them...and with the "K" stamp to boot. Things that make you go....hmmmm?

i ordered slow jets and IS carb springs from chapparel

it took 10 days and all i received was the springs, after talking with them on the phone i was told that the jets had been on backorder for more than a month before the day i placed my order.

after i got done  at them i ask them my they didnt tell me they were out of stock, or even let the order go through  (as if they cared)

in all it took over 3 weeks to get the jets, so i will never do business with them again

i do remember all of the jets had the K stamped on them
