Some of you have seen this but I saw it for the first time tonight. It's an inside look at many brands of oil filters with a small write up comparing them.

I've used Emgo filters on my KLR650 for the past 10,000 miles changing filters at 1,000 miles. KLR's beat up oil especially off road use.

I've used Purolator filters on my ST1300 for the past 80,000 miles. Changing filters at 3,000 miles for dino oil and 5,000 miles for synthetic.
Purolator Pure One PL14610

No problems to date.

I use the oem UFI filters on my Moto Guzzi and the oem Honda filters on my Honda. See no good reason not to and have done it for nearly 35 years. It was nice to see them get such high marks in this not so scientific examination.
