Timbo stopped in and helped out and got some fluids changed.
BnBTom also came over to hang and help out.
I got my chrome caliper covers installed, thanks to Houdini finding the hardware.

What a day What a day.
Left this morning at 5:30 headed for Lake Dallas Texas.  Lets see I went darkside, did drive maintenance, we argued down the guy that mounted our tires, after he tried to double the price on us, had to modify my bag hardware, nut modification for DS i put a carriage bolt from inside out with acorn nut on outside,  It stuck out to far so had to put in spacers for bags to go back on. Put new brake pads on the back, thanks to Guillie,  Andy's wife made eggs and sausage casserole that was to die for, then she grilled up some brats,  finishe up my DS and changes around 6 and headed home got home around 9:15.;l  15 minutes from being gone 16 hours today.
Thanks Andy for hosting and hauling my butt around to look for hardware.  Need to do it again soon.

thanks to all who came and helped my out.  My ride home was great, different, but great.

As promised, here's some of the pics.

Getting the old tires off jimnvalk's and Garfield's bikes.

Yodamaster doing something.

Disco, Garfield, Unnamed person, and Valkpilot taking the shaft...  out of a final drive.

Some of the other bikes waiting thier turn for the attention.

Same bikes from earlier waiting on thier new shoes to return.

And finally, the new guy, lucky_1_chris, lubing the shaft....

Had a great time helping hide all the tools and various accoutrements.  Thanks to our hosts for pulling all this together, and the help changing out the fluids on my ride.  I did not know that those bubbles would look so clear....kinda like another set of mirrors now!

Timbo, I put a set of OEM VTX 1300 mirrors on my Valk and I like them better than the stock ones.

Naw, he did 'em.  The old pads were down to bare metal.

He just replaced them in stealth mode while everyone else was at the feed trough.

Little blue case? I forgot those. I'm not worried about 'em. I picked that little set up at Wal Mart in Mena, AR last weekend for 10 bucks. The clamp on my heat shield was rubbing the final drive, and that set was only a few bucks more than buying a single wrench to fix the problem. If you remember, just bring 'em next time I guess. No biggie either way.

Thanks again for having me over. See ya next time.
