What is the tube that is connected to the kick stand on an I/S ? i have never noticed it before. until today, when i found it leaking a little gas in my drive way. I started the bike and pulled it into the garage for further inspection and it stopped. Is this normal ? any help would be greatly appreciated so i can sleep tonight. i am going on a long ride this weekend, leaving in the morning.

shank.....if you have drained your carburetor drain bowls lately, then that is just the little gas that is left in the lines.....mine will do this after i have drained my bowls, and it will go on for 40-50 miles afterward...then stop.....if it keeps leaking then you may have to put in new o-rings. when you tighten ou the drain bowl screws..don't overtighten, because it don't take alot of torque to strip them. have a safe ride tomorrow.

Gas tank vent tube will drip if tank overfilled. Did you fill up just before you parked? Hoser

I think that tube is the carberator drain tube.
The carburator drain tube is on the right side down next to the dragon drool tube. The single vent line near the kickstand is the vent line atttaced to the tail of the fuel tank.
