Vancouver WA

« on: March 18, 2011, 06:47:07 AM »

I didnt find an inbtro place so I started one.
My name is Rick I am from Vancouver WA, been riding for the best part of 35 yrs thinking the only brand I have never owned is a beemer, I got the F6 last year after much wheweling and dealing for the out put of an orig 200.00 is a '99 a tick less than 50k I have put over 10 on it myself. ~already got 2k this year alone MOSTLY WET miles~ I am always looking for someone to ride with if there is anyone in the PDX/Vanc-metro area thats up for a ride.

I will say the valk is my last bike since my 35 year search for the perfect bike is over..... riding to Vegas sometime soon as well if anyone wants to partake....

feel free to contact me and I hope to meet some of you folks

Hey Rick welcome. You have indeed bought the best cruiser ever made. If you need any info there is all you will ever need right here. You can do a search or just ask the question. I'm sure we have members up around your area that will touch base with you. Again welcome.

Hello from Momz.

Beemers and Valks are certainly different machines, and both have qualities that make them outstanding.

But I hope you will learn to love your Valk enough to make it your personal favorite. Heck, some of us VRCC members are multiple Valk owners (and cursed proud of it).

Again hello and welcome.

Thanks for the welcomes, blike I said the only brand NEVER owned is a beemer.
I searched a long wile for the valk trade kinowing how great they are. BIG,FAST,COMFY,, so far the only machine that gives me issues is the vmax a buddie has and a pesky zx14 connie on I-5....
gas mileage is a bit short being my only complaint.

mods to mine: drivers backrest, pigs removed, nothing major as I think the stock set up is perfection for my 5-6, 210 lbs frame.......lol

and my brother lives in vegas so we would have two tourguides. but I wanna see a tom jones show wile there. hahahahaha
