I am needing to get a tour pack of some kind. I have the OEM backrest and luggage rack.

What have you used and what did you like or hate about it.

If you have something you are thinking of getting rid of let me know.

We bought a used one of these last year.  I want to say we paid like 75 for it.  Works fine and had a rain cover.  Held enough for a 4 day trip to Arkasas and back with the 2 of us along with the saddle bags of course.  Looks like Tourmaster has a new version out now also.

I REALLY like a tail bag... or a trunk as many folks call them.  It just makes life so much easier for the daily commuter.

I bought this guy at JC Whitney for about $65.00  I know... I know... it's butt-assed ugly... HOWEVER... it does what I expect of it.  And I like the fact that it is lockable and removable... so when I am touring... it can stay in the room if we make day trips.  I have some plans to add something more substantial later.



Secondly for trips... I bought this guy from the T_Bags clearance site for $35.00. (Free Shipping!  how awesome is that?!!) It is for an ATV but the smaller one fits the Valk perfectly... it had FOUR (count em!) water bottle holders. Ghillie, I bought the Dowco Rally Pack for my trip last summer.  Between it and my saddle bags I was able to pack for seven days even though I had to cancel the trip.  Misty and I used it for the Ride In and we had plenty of room for all of our stuff for three days.
