Joe won 1st place in Asian Mild Class with his '98 Valkyrie Tourer.

Maybe he will be proud enough to post some pictures.

His bike was looking really good in the show - I never even thought to snap any pics.  Embarrassed

Congrats Joe!

LOL...

Thanks Ray it was a good time.  I enjoyed the time with Larry (Bark1) and Jerry (Bark2), they are a father and son duo!  Yes the three Valkyries made for some great conversation pieces at a profound Harley bike show.  Many folks came by and wanted to know where they could buy one or what in the world kind of bike was the valkyrie.  We met some great people and a fella that his brother has one and I suppose it will be coming to my garage soon for a carb balance.  Here is a few pictures that I have on the computer I hadn't had time to get any pictures loaded up. (These were taken from Bark2's FB page.)

Jerry's 1999 Valkyrie Interstate (left, with Jerry) and his dad's 1999 Valkyrie Interstate (right, with Larry)
Jerry's bike took third in Asian Touring while Larry's took 2nd place.  Our friend Kevin took first with his 2001 chromed out Goldwing.

Congrats to Larry and Jerry

My 1998 Valkyrie Tourer placed first in Asian Mild.

It was great to represent the VRCC and the best made bike of all times.  I referred many folks to our site for information and a place to browse the classifieds.  This really is a tribute to all of you guys.  JimL thanks for sending me the info when this bike was for sale and to all of you that have helped and assist me in my growing knowledge of the mechanical side of these bikes.  I never owned a street bike until my I/S in 2006 and since then I have became a "shade tree mechanic" for many of our members including myself Tongue   It's because of the shoptalk and the members willing to help assist and teach.  I must give credit to Pharmboy as well.  He has been an awesome teacher to working on these bikes.  Pharmboy I can't wait to come visit you in a month.  Thanks for helping me.  And The VRCC members, you guys are an awesome bunch to be apart.

I must say.. the ABATE's party saturday night doesn't even come within ten miles of the party and great time we have at InZane.  Matter of fact we left before the party really "started".  It just made me wish that time would come sooner for InZane.  I can't wait to see all of you!

Enjoy your week   Wink

It is the most pristine tourer I've seen, I turned him on to it after I saw it at Cassoday a couple years ago with a for sale sign on it.
Color is wrong though!  cooldude  Cheesy  angel hoser

Congratulations, my friend!  That bike is definitely #1 all the way, and I feel privelaged to be able to tell everyone that it rides as good as it looks.  Joe, I have known from the very start that you are just a natural when it comes to wrenching.  Best of all, you are a great guy and fun to ride with.  Can't wait to head to Big Bend.  Come on down.  We are going to have a place to park your bike...JTL
