I've had the Cam-Lock on 4 different bikes. I think it's from the same company and love them. Call Bill at Cam-Lock and ask which is better for your application.

I have the Cam-Lok, great unit, works well, a bud of mine got the rooster and Lock and was never happy with it.  YMMV

I too like the Cam Lock (and have no experience with the rooster and Lock).  The Cam Lock works perfectly, is adjustable, and looks like it belongs on the bike.

The only problem I had was that with the OEM grip, I broke the plastic throttle tube due to the extension.  I replaced the plastic throttle tube and added Kury grips which solved the problem.

Somewhat pricey, but a quality product.

Thank you, I'll still take my electronic cruise over any throttle lock.

That is just my opinion, I know, everyone has one, just like they all have a belly button also..

One of them cost me $335 in Kansas cause I didn't have my get out of jail free card.   Plus, he wanted the $$$$$ right now, no mail it in later.  He escorted me back 40 miles to this little town out in the middle of no where. I went to the bank to get a Cashier's check for him and he gave me an envelope and stamp and then walked me across the street so as to mail the envelope.   Trusting little guy.

Had the throttle lock set at 65 on the flat, went up a hill and it dropped several MPH, topped out and was on a downhill run out in the wild blue yonder and low and behold, 1 other vehcile in this 5 mile stretch and he was a Rookie LEO.....
