Hey everyone. Please pray for BS Nicely. His wife Thelma called after midnight asking for me to come to the hospital. Brian had suffered a stroke. Just got word that it was caused by hypertension. As of this morning he is still on a vent and is heavily sedated. Thelma said his speech was very slurred and could not move his right side when she called 911.
This has hit us very hard especially Noah(Cowbell). Brian was his Dad's best friend(Old Skool) and Brian is his Godfather. Brian and Noah are very close and to see him upset was hard for me.
I will keep you all posted. We got home at 6 this morning and will be going back to the hospital in a short while.

So sorry to hear this news

Brian is a great guy

Is there a way for us to send ecards to him at the hospital so he knows we are all
praying for his full recovery?

Prayers sent up from out here in California.

I know first hand how scary and devastating a stroke can be.
Some may remember what I posted up a few years ago about my Father and his stroke.

Keep your faith and follow medical directions the best you can. Be very aggressive with any rehab that might (hopefully not) needed.

Rhonda - please tell Brian we are all thinking of him.  Please keep us posted.  I was just listening to him and Old Skool playing with the Christ Temple Choir about two days ago and thinking of him.  Brian had sent me a couple of CD's awhile back and I was listening to Journey Into His Presence and thinking of him.

Prayers and good thoughts from the swamplands.
