Hi everyone, I'm shopping for a rear tire [180/70R16]. Any deals out there? The prices seem higher this season! I'm not too concerned about Brand. Any ideas?
                                                                              Thanks,
                                                                                giff

Just got a Rear Bridgestone Exedra Tire from Dennis Kirk $140.99+$5 tire fee/shipping.....Best deal I could find. Front is 130.99.... might be some coupons out there, but i couldn't find one that works and didn't want to wait.  Stealer wants $30 to mount- new valve stem included.

Not trying to stir things up but I got my car tire from a nearby junkyard for $45 and it has over 15k and still looks new. When it goes belly up I will be searching for another at the same place for the same price.

Where you at giff?  I have a used E3 I took off my interstate you can have, still quite a bit of tread on it.  If your close to Detroit, come and get it.

Bought a 180/70/16 rear Avon Cobra from Jake Wilson a few weeks ago for $185 & free shipping. Best deal I could find on what I consider the best rear tire for the Valkyrie.  cooldude

I buy ALL my tires from Tim @ http://www.twobrotherstires.com/

They don't advertise their prices so you have to call them and he will give you the price to delivered to your door.

I have never had anyone beat their prices and service is second to none.

As of this post I had bought a new rear tire for my wife's bike last fall or late summer. She has ridden the bike less than 1000 miles since then. The other day I noticed a SPLIT in the tire about 3 inches long.

I called Tim and he sent me a new tire which is sitting in my garage waiting for me to install it this weekend. He only asked that I pay shipping to return the bad tire to him so he can send it back to manufacturer.  They sent me the replacement tire with no questions asked and no request for money to ship just a good faith that I will send the old tire back to him. Those are the kind of people I will give my repeat business to time and time again.

Can't say enough good things about them.

Give them a call.

+1 on Motorcycle Super Store, I have order three E-3's from them. No problems. Free shipping on the tires.  I now live less than 80 miles from them, they offer free mounting/balancing if wheel off the bike.
