I have run into the first stupid rule in PA:

To transfer the bike from Alabama to Pennsylvania and I need a tracing of the VIN...the VIN by the frame neck is printed...is it stamped anywhere else. With my luck it will be under the trans covers.

Thanks in Advance

It's stamped on the right hand side of the neck tube. It was hard to see on my I/S but since I had the frame powder coated I had to have a cop come and verify it at my house. He was cool about it, he let me "read it out to him" cuz he couldn't see it very well.

Oh, and, it's a "VIN" Or a "VI Number" But it's not a Vehicle Identification number number!  2funny
