I fooled around and let the low end jets gum up and went to have them replaced. The dealer wants to replace them all while at it and of course synch them. Total cost 819.00. Is that about right or way to high.  I've owned a valk since 1999 and never let that happen before, its an expensive lesson!

Way too high, but that's what dealers do. You could just clean the jets but most the cost is in the labor to take the carbs in and out of the bike. Find someone close to help you Sync if you can. It's a 20 minute job and the dealers charge a fortune. Biggest rib off of all are what dealers charge for carb sync. No parts involved just labor.

Good Luck,

Where are you located? Might be someone close who can help with the changeout. Not a hard job.

Dealers need to make money, but that's alot for something that is about $20.00 in parts.  I'm sure someone will help for pizza and beer.
