RainMaker's Route Returning from the GOTF

On the trip back from GOTF to the DFW Metromess, I intend to stop in College Station to drop off a notebook computer to my son at TAMU.  So I'm taking the loop from the hotel to Hwy 6/290, then heading to College Station on 6 and stopping at the Corps dorms for a few minutes. Will then continue on 6 past Calvert to 14, where I will head north thru Bremond, Groesbeck and Mexia to Richmond, where 14 joins I-45 for the last hour into Dallas.  Should be better than riding I-45 and there may be bluebonnets along the trail.  Hope so.

Lunch?  No idea.  Maybe in Hearne, maybe in College Station depending on the start time.
