Does the shaft coming off the transmission that connects to the shifter suppose to have play in it?
I am trying to put on a Rattlebars shift kick and it is aggravating! I must not have the o rings and washers just right. Anyway when I went clockwise a tooth and started to tighten the shifter, that when I noticed it.  I sure hope that's normal.  uglystupid2

Thanks

You will love that Kick Shift....  I had to get one for mine years ago because I was loving the heel/toe shift on the Retro.    Did you get a new one from Rattlebars or ?

Hi John, I got it off the board and Rattlebars has closed down. I'm sure I'll love it because I'm so used to that laid back position on my Retro. I swith back and forth from the two and the key is on the opposite side on the Valk and always being consious of my toe shifting- sometimes I find myself kicking the air!! 2funny 2funny
