The latest u-joint posts (as of yesterday) indicated that they were going to be radioactive - but no mention of a delivery date.  I can't remember who exactly (maybe Goose?  apologies if I'm wrong) but somebody on here has an "in" with Honda and has been giving us a head's up about the inside scoop on the u-joint drama.

I hang out here quite a bit and read a majority of the posts - and I haven't seen anything about a u-joint delivery date.  I coulda missed it though as I don't check in on the weekends.

I have seen a few on Ebay if you really need one quick... and the price seemed reasonable from what I recall.

Since they'll be radioactive, will that give us a few more hp to the rear wheel?  ???

kaiser.... the last time i talked with my man at honda...tuesday.....still no word on a eta of the u-joint, but they are still actively working on them.  he adamately assured me that honda was 100% going to produce this u-joint, because of the amount of bikes that this u-joint is affecting.  as far as an eta is concerned, they are still talking about the end of april.  once the first 4 or 5 come off the line, they will have to meet honda's quality control inspection process, then we will know exactly when they will be out.  i do believe that honda is going to make more of them, because honda knows how many bikes are affected by this, and i don't think they want to lose the sales that they will lose if they don't take care of the MILLIONS of customers that own bikes with this particular u-joint.

Same question was asked yesterday.  Unfortunately this seemingly good-natured thread got hijacked and took a turn for the worse.
