is when the temps are in the high 30`s to the low 40`s, WHY? because your BEER does not get too warm between the rounds. My "manuel" says that a round should not be longer than 12 minutes to figure this. I mow about 2 1/2  of this sh&* so I think it will take me about  9 beers to get the job done. For some reason I never seem to get done on time.  Undecided  My yard looks like SH$%. I need some help of some kind. Roll Eyes
All thought `s are welcome;

I might mow to get myself out of the house tomorrow. Perhaps the organic all natural craze will finally make its way to yards and I can just let it all go. I promise not the play croquet if I can stop mowing the yard into a lawn that makes a croquet court.

Well, I did not finish mowing yesterday because of the "BEER" , kidding. If I drank that many beers I would fall off the mower. We had too much rain and cold temps this Spring and the grass has grown to fast for me to keep up with it. Back yard was about 6 to 7 in. and that slows down my little 50" Cub Cadat, even with blades set as high as it will go. Going to finish front today as temps going to about 55.  Roll Eyes

Ride on and be safe.

Sometimes ya got to mow in the rain.

That is the way the commercial guy that lives on my street does it.

He has a schedule for the week and come hell or high water, he mows the yards.

Most of them are for Auto Dealers who have a very large campus.    I think he has like 40 or 50 guys mowing every day.    I know he has a parking lot big enough for a Wal-Mart store to park all of his equipment, plus their main office is in the building on the lot.     I'd say it takes up at least 4 or 5 acres.  Years ago it was a Farmall dealership.    He has about 6 or 7 full time mechanics working on the equipment.   When a mower hits 1,000 hours, it is dismantled and the usable parts are stuck in the parts room, and the iron goes to the iron salvage dealer.     He buys 5 new units every year he says.

Must be some hellish $$$$$ in mowing and pushing snow in the winter.
