I recently purchased the air wings for my I/S. Someone told me that you will get more wind in your chest with them on. Which they were right. Has anyone rigged up anything to stop the air from going underneath the fairing and hitting you in the chest? I thought about cutting the pieces that I had to take off for clearance. Any ideas?

A set of lowers from Big Bike Things stopped the air from going under the fairing and shaking my head. Had blurry vision around 65+. Now no air. I also put on a Tulsa windsheild 4" taller and a little wider. No air. At all. Fine most of the time but at 95 degrees and higher, you'll smother on the interstate. Still, I'm happier. The air wings should be the answer that I haven't tried yet.

does your I/S have the wings on the fairing? I added some to my b'wing and it took the chest hit away. Had the fork deflectors on but only helped my hat from blowing off.

Hey Haz I got a set of lowers from Bike Bike Parts like Overdue suggested. Great for spring and fall riding but when it gets hot,summertime,I missed the cooler air coming up from underneath the fairing.I now take off the shields during the summer. It got just too hot.

Yes I had to take off the little ones(that come stock) that are underneath to put the air wings on? |

Purchased Memphis Shades Lower Fork Brackets #MEM9887. Cut my own deflectors out of aluminum plate and sculpted up into fairing. Painted to match the bike.    |

I got these wings from that guy in New Zealand from evil-bay not sure if they would work on interstate. I actually bought lexan and cut out larger ones. Works well for wind and easy to remove from bike and adjustable angles. Good chrome but bolts I replaced with chrome ones. Bolts up under lower triple tree.  |
