Capital Area - Michigan

« on: April 02, 2011, 09:21:04 AM »

In Michigan since I seem to forecast the weather as good or better than most meteorologists up here (no offense just an observation), I've had this 50% rule... Less that 50% chance of precip and not raining... I ride (planned trips - I scrap ALL rules). Well that has served me well except I've missed some BEAUTIFUL days (which are a treasure up here in the mitten). I am now thinking of adopting the DMeyer "wet driveway rule."...if the driveway's not wet... The 'Big Girl' gets to take me to work during the riding season... WORKS FOR ME!    AND KUDOS again Daniel... Lovin the 4th book, as well. See you all in July - Be Safe.   B

I've got a 60% rule.  59% and below plus a dry driveway I'm riding.  60% and above, the Valks  stay home.  Don't mind so much gettin wet coming home but I do not want to be wet going to work/school/whathaveyou cause then I'm just wet and miserable all day.

I have the if its not falling now rule. I own good rain gear. So if nothing is falling right now, Im riding.
