Ok today was the day i planned on installing the pingle.

Removed the OEM and with the screen on pingle it will not fit. There is a plastic tube with an o-ring still attached.

I searched for install tips for the pingle and have come up empty. I hope some one with the pingle swp out is lurking.

once you pull out the stock valve with the copper tube attached, you will see the plastic tube with the o-ring still in the bottom of the tank....pull out the plastic tube and the o-ring....this is the gas screen for the stock gas valve.  now...install the new pingle fuel valve.... the screen that is made onto the new pingle valve will be snug going in, but it will go with no problems.  that's it.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Check all your lines for kinks. Chech the fuel line, esp if you added a small extre line and the vent line at the back of the tank. You got gas in it?  ??? Remember resv is shorter. Dont sound like a pingel issue to me.

Checked for kinks and did not find any. Runs with Choke open but wants to stall out when I close the choke down. I am wondering if I missed a vaccum. Also there is a T in the tank vac line, what should I connect it to?

It doesn't connect to anything.  It's a vacuum break in case the bottom of the vent line gets plugged.

you should put a cap on the vacuum fitting on #6 cylinder if you are not using it, otherwise it will be leaning out that cylinder, IE it will be sucking air in.  Just remove the line and cap the fitting.

+1  and double check the tank vent line.....its almost kinked by the the way it supose to run so it doesnt take much to kink it....when the tanks installed on the bike it just barely clears the center cover, where the seat key lock is... Cheesy

It is amazing how well she runs when you get all the vent lines plugged.

Thanks guys.
