FB and I had an XXXXXXXXXXX-XTRA LARGE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GREAT Folks!!!!!!
A GREAT ride!!!!!
Lots of Tales, Lies, and Tire Kickin'!!!!!
Pretty fair BBQ!!!!
Lot's of Friends...(that woud be the Fools!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
and a LOT of money raised for the Texas Lions Camp.....
I am AMAZED at the generousity of the Fools that came and supported the Camp with their donations.....  Y'all are doing GREAT things to send disabled children to camp!!!!!!!!!
The donations did not quite hit the $7000 mark that was  mentioned during the calling of the winners...
.The fine 'Fools' that were helping to collect and count the moneys may have counted one stack twice....... HEY... there was "apple pie"  ( the liquid kind), grape juice, and whiskey envolved...LOL !!!!!

The grand total of the donations from the 50/50, silent auction, ticket raffels, hats, and food  was !!!!!!!   $6123  !!!!!!!!!!....  I'm just blown away......
This will do Great things for Kids.... that NEED Great things to happen in their lives.

FB and I want to thank everyone that came, for making it the BEST Yet... 'Gatherin' "O" the Fools!!!!!

We don't get to spend enough time visiting with folks at the Gatherin'.....kinda busy....  but we truely appreciate each and every 'Fool' that makes the trip!!!!!!!
Proud to call you ALL Friends!!!!!!!!!!!!  Hope Y'all had as much fun as we did!!!!!!!

Thank You ALL
 hg and FB

Next Year!!!!!
Can't Wait!!!!!!!

LOL.. thanks..... wouldn't DREAM of cutting back on the brisket!!!!!!!!!!
For a "normal" BBQ.... ya figure 1 lb uncooked meat /person....  For the Gatherin' I use 2.5 lbs / person and end up REAL close!!!!!!!!!
Talk about some MEAT EATERS!!!!!!! cooldude

Really hate that I missed this...   Was having to eat jambalya and gumbo with my son at LSU....

I have only met a few of the fools, and man are they.  Can't wait to meet more.

I have already saved the date on my calendar for next year....  Wait, what is the date??

Really REALLLLY glad I came.

I've always come away from a Valk function with interesting memories but this one has to be the BEST!!!

Got to see a lot of folks that I met at "Meet In The Middle" last year and met some new Valkers this year. . . from all over the country!

                            What a group.

Its always great to see this many people enjoying themselves.. talking, laughing, EATING & telling lies stories about their personal adventures involving their Valks.

How'd I get so lucky.  I never would have guessed that my 'love at first sight' attraction to Honda's six cylinder lady would lead to this kind of comradery.

And, of course, THANKS again Hot Glue and FB for puttin this shindig together.  I can't imagine anybody else doing this as well as the two of you!
