Hey Tim, I am still voteing when I can ---I went back to work, and I'm working in Montgomery-at the armed forces center-- hauling all the bricks and trash off from the site-fillin in a pond 2 miles away. can't remember where you work -- but if you see a red volvo back dump ---wave--thats me--
i work on Gunter. Rode the red and white to work today....... We're in the home stretch...contest ends 6 May....winner to be announced soon after! |

i asked Sherry to let me know so i can post info as soon as she hears. No matter what, we are EXTREMELY grateful to ALL the many, many folks who took time out to do this (over and over!). Even when Sherry and i were on a bike trip to North Alabama several weeks ago, DDT was reminding us we all needed to vote ....so we'd pass Sherry's smart phone around and vote........ Susan is home now (came home Tuesday night). She has finished year two....took all her finals. She'll spend the summer working at two or three different places (part of her intern work as i understand it). We're flying her to Reno in June to work at an Emergency animal clinic in Reno. and she'll also be working at a Vet clinic in West Alabama this summer. I'm not sure about the third location. I know she talked about working in Florida...but I'm not sure if she still will do that one? If not, she has a local Mobile Equine Vet she has worked for on and off for years....and she'll no doubt work for her in between the Reno and West Alabama jobs. Next year....she'll be in her third year (of Vet college...she also did 4 years of undergrad at Auburn University in Montgomery). It takes 8 years of college to become a Vet. It's very much like becoming a Doctor.... |
