wont change fuel mileage unless the old OEM was starving the motor, not getting enough gas to run right, then the mileage might go down a  tad, but its not going to feed the motor more than it wants just because it could...

I read on here that your reserve range becomes alot less.  So I would have to guess the extra gas would now be on the regular run side, so you would get more miles till you hit reserve. Then have a much smaller reserve range.

Switched a Pingel last summer and didn't notice any mpg difference or for that matter, any performance difference either.  As stated above, you will have less reserve because the tube is shorter.

Your fuel milage will not change or be effected. The tube is not the same length, that will effect the miles you ride from full to reserve and from reserve to empty.  You should find that you will go further before reserve and less miles after hitting reserve, although it should all work out in the wash to the same total miles. I would find your own sweet spot, if you do hit reserve, stop at your first opportunity. Wink
