Went and looked at them. First appearance they look real good. Nice looking bike. Now upon closer look the fairing, trunk, and saddlebags are CHEAP. Flimsy plastic. Been looking at different bikes to maybe one day replace my Valkyries. As of now none are being made. My trouble is finding a bike that rides good, handles good, low maintenance, dependable, not covered in Tupperware, and easy to work on. Like I said maybe one day. Also to me none look as good as the Valkyrie.

I kinda thought the same thing. Got to test drive a new Vaquero (demo ride) the other day.  Not much of a windshield for sure especially if it's in the low 40's.  I noticed like you mentioned the plastic but otherwise a pretty decent ride.  Tranny was "clunky" when shifting and didn't "snick" into gear like the Valk does ....

Don't forget about the Yamaha Venture. They've been around for a long time and look good IMO. The engines are tough and derived from the V-Max. They look comfortable but I've never ridden one. They seem to really hold their value and don't have all the tupperware either. The only other I can think of is a Ultra Classic or Streetglide. Shocked

The Venture, Royal Star Tour Deluxe(Like you said good bikes), and Rocket 3 are the closest choice as of right now.
