It is relisted.    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda-Valkyrie-Valkyrie-interstate-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem1c1ad964fbQQitemZ120709539067QQptZUSQ5fmotorcycles#ht_500wt_1182

Buyer backed out.  Said undisclosed damage and repairs needed.

All I saw was the 1/2 dollar size rash on the rh fairing, with NO breaking of the fairing, just paint damage.

Do not know if he has gotten it running.  Did put in a new battery.

The pictures probably don't do it justice....  but it looks as tho it could be located somewhere in the middle of that West Virginia MC Salvage yard in another post here.   I just can't understand why sellers don't put their items in a better light, clean off the dirt and grim and last years bugs and all, and try to make a better presentation.... or is the dirt hiding something deeper?  At least is could show to how they cared for it overall......

I agree.  But, when I looked at it, I think it was just surface dirt.  Slows are clogged, and needs starter switch work.  I told him to wash it up, and take more pics, but?????

why doesn't he fix it up himself and ride it??  even getting out of those weeds would make it look better to sell!!  i wonder if it will bid up to $7700 again?

He didn't do himself any favors with the relisting language and the bidder who withdrew gave a negative feedback which wont help either. Someone may be able to get this bike for a decent price.

Hmmmm

If I didn't have two valk's already I'd consider it....  But..  seriously if anyone on here wins the bid I am 40 min south of this guy and I can pick you up at airport or what have you and we can get the bike and bring it to my place and we can get it running and on the road in a couple days.

PM me if you are serious about this and I will do a better attempt at getting up there and looking at it and maybe take some better pictures.  I am guessing 6500k cash would buy it out from under ebay...  just a thought.

Let me know.

Honestly, for an Interstate that's been sitting, will need a lot of cleanup and some fix-up, and is almost bone stock it's not a great deal.  It'll be a good buy for someone but it's not an overly great price considering some that have been bought lately.
