Just an FYI I found the other day during cleaning that the Chrome was starting to peel off. Asked my kid to check into an original replacement. He did and for his cost I cant pass it up. But after mine has been ordered there is only 8 brand new ones left in the country he said. This per the Honda Dealer computer.

So if anyone wants one...better get it now.

When those 8 run out Honda will still accept orders and if they get enough for that part, will have them re made.  Same thing happened last time they ran out of covers.

Hmmmm, curious as to what "his cost" is and if you can pass that savings on to some others interested in obtaining these covers??  I still think it is heat related.... plastic and chrome expand and contract at different temps etc  etc as the cause, but that is just my opinion.    Someone painted theirs and I am curious to see how that holds up.  Someone made some stainless covers but that won't work if you have other Kury side covers etc.... darn it.  Mine is starting to peel, or lift off but no chips as of yet.  I have one in standby.... for now.

It is Heat related. And the Stainless does work with the Kury Covers. I form it to fit.
