Crestview (Panhandle) Florida

We headed out from Crestview at 0830 for the Gun Show, the morning fog was just lifting and the sun was fighting the low clouds.  Made for an interesting sky. Was 80 or so miles to PCB, but it took a long time because I chose the beach way (not really thinking that it was spring break still) so more traffic than normal, not as much as Thunder Beach though.

Thanks Mr Obama (the pres bought a couple guns today)  See we installed some storm windows last year and qualified for a tax rebate........the same amount of the rebate is what we spent on these two guns.........a S&W 637 Airweight for Judy for "carry" and a S&W686 standard for hunting and carry for me.  Both nice looking guns except they have the dang blasted "lock" oh well, no problems on the .500 so far with it locking with all that recoil....these should do as well or better.

On the ride home the sea fog was blowing in off the water, it seemed like we should have been getting wet, but it was an unusually dry mist, so it kept us cool and was really eerie navigating through PCB with it all around the hotels and buildings.

A nice Mahi sandwich on the beach and almost 200 miles on the clock.......great day  cooldude

Fort Walton Beach, Florida I'm a simple man, I like pretty, dark haired woman and breakfast food.

We went to that gun show today (Sunday).  The wife saw a pink pearl handled Tarus 38 that she liked.  Also a lady-light (I think that was the name) S & W she liked too.

And that upside down building across from Ripley's Believe it or Not.......didn't know what the heck it was.  It wasn't there the last time we were over there.  Will have to check it out if we go over for Thunder Beach later this month.

Hey BF, we should get together for a "ride-to-a-shoot"  sounds like fun, my wife has a bunch of lady friends (she sells AVON) but none of them shoot.  cooldude
