After a 500 mile ride over the weekend, I parked my I/S in the driveway. When I went to move it into the garage last night, I pressed down on the choke lever and heard "Click". Now the lever just floats uo and down. I guess I'll see exactly what broke when I take it apart tonight.

Just replaced the top cable, it's a piece of cake.  I used a screw driver to start it and hold the choke closed till it warmed up,.  You can access it on the left side cylinder bank, while I waited for the cable to come in from HDL.  Hoser
