She (Queen Bee) has been tooling around the neighborhoods for a couple of weeks on the Valk and she now felt like she wanted to get out of town a bit. So we made plans for Sun. morn. to do a short run to see how she feels and how she handles the Dragon on some open road. Meeting time was 10AM at my house......well.......she called.......going to be late, no biggie and DON'T hurry I said, take your time! I was in the garage just cleaning up my work bench when I heard the Dragon coming down the road.  cooldude

I sure do like the looks of that bike and the colors.....I don't know....the colors are just great....something about that yellow and black I really like for some reason.  Roll Eyes

OOOOHHHH yea.....that's why I like the colors soooooo much!  uglystupid2

Yup! The bee hive is in town!  cooldude

Well we had to changed out QB'S plate to her personalized one then we were off to get through town and get to some open two lane riding.
It was a beautiful day with a high of 67 degrees with blue skies and some scattered clouds.

She did just GREAT! I was not flying but we held a pretty reasonable speed all the time and even went trought a couple of 40 MPH sweepers. We had gone about 60 miles and we took a little break to see how QB was doing. ALL SMILES!  Grin We did decide to head back home from here and to not push things. We had a great time and I look forward to a longer ride next time maybe.

Nice report.

You are a good man to offer your assistance to her riding/learning curve.

Good looking bikes........... and a good looking riding partner to boot.

Her ATGATT approach is smart too. (I don't know how long that can be continued in AZ Summer, may be time soon for armored full-mesh in light colors.)

WoooooooHoooooo....did I have fun!  Now I'm ready for a REAL ride!!

Thankfully, the weather was so cool that I was comfortable in my "armour".  The temp was only 54 degrees when I left my house, so all the leather wasn't too hot. By the time we got back it had warmed up to about 65.

I'm taking baby steps, but am getting anxious to GO!  I've been riding two-up with Chuck (WB)  for many years and he has always been so patient, but never more than on this little ride.  It was a milestone for me and I know he would have preferred to go farther and faster, but kept it slower and easier for me.   Kiss  He's the BEST!

Thanks to everyone for your support and well wishes.  Don't the Bees look great together?!? Cool
