I need to paint my saddlebags , pearl dark red #R223 and Pearl ivory # Y137M . The Pearl ivory is a base coat and top coat then clear coat , The red is a top coat, clear coat, The paint at Color Rite is almost $200.00 a pint that's over $600.00 of Liquids and then the labor! The paint matching  camera can not match a base coat and top coat. Is there any other way to get the paint local . That seems like a lot of money to paint 2 saddlebags

Check with paint shops that do street rods ....Any good painter worth his salt can match paint by mixing.

I took my bags in to the painter, recommended by a friend in the car sales industry for about 40 years. Fella said he could remove the gravel rash and match both colors (green/silver) and paint/coat for around $400.

If you want it for show, and are painting the entire bike, go expensive. I just want them to look good for riding...

unless its a tri-coat which is basicly a base color with a tinted midcoat and a clear over that any paint reader should be able to read it.I do it just about every day. I didnt think any valk had a tri coat on it i know goldwings do and i have had some success even with them.
