What the number for the Pingle Non-vacuum fuel valve to order?? I just rebuilt my OEM fuel valve and it still does not work right. I think the shut off is shot. I'm tired of messing around with it.
Any sites for the best price?
Any Pingle install issues or steps??
thanks is advance
Jerry

You wouldn't have a link would you? I have done business with Dennis Kirk before but they have the most useless search "feature" I've ever come across. If you search Pingle 1311CHV on Amazon it comes right up. Dennis Kirk has no clue what you're talking about.

The valve is a hair smaller then the oem fuel line. I used a small fuel filter and then added a smaller size line to hook up to the pingel. Added a real hose clamp and all is good. Also had to cut off some of the line to add the fuel filter.

I'm on my second Honda petcock_the orig plus one. The first lasted 5 years this one 6. After checking for vacuum leaks, I ordered the Pingel vacuum model. My 2 k I/S has been acting like its runnining out of gas at 75 mph. Switching the petcock back and forth while driving gets it running ok again. Re a filter, I installed a Golan 10 micron in line years ago. I'd like to keep it stock looking but I've run out of confidence in the Honda P/rooster.

I just went through the same thing with a rebuilt petcock. Got hyrolocked twice. Fortunately with no damage. Had my mechanic clean the carbs, install a non vac pingle, and changed the fouled oil. She's running great now. It does take a bit of getting used to turning the thing off. You really have to reach under the tank and feel for it till you get used to it.

Hey guys. I have been reading the stories here about the factory vacuum gas valve. Knock on wood here, still using the original on my 97, no problems yet. If switching out to the pingel do you suggest also going in with the dan marc valve too? Factory one still working fine but you all have me worried now. Any suggestions as to what to install first? I will taking the tank off here shortly to replace the filter figured it be a good time to do this for peace of mind.

Installing a Dan-Marc is a matter of choice but it will keep you from having to turn off the petcock every time you get off the bike.

No Dan Mark for me. I turn mine off, most of the time, anyway. Figure its one less thing for me or it to screw up.
