I have a handle bar riser question. I would like my bars to come back a couple of inches. Maybe a little of Handle bar risers 101 would be in order Thanks John Wodarski

I can tell you that in the Riser department, a little goes a long way. 2 inches additional pullback may be above the limit without extending cables. Our risers are metric of course, the Harley risers will fit if you drill out the holes a bit. Check out these, they are about as extended as allowed with stock cables, and they cover up the circular depressions in the top of the tripletree :http://www.hondadirectlineofshadyside.com/stores/product.asp?pid=519&str=2&ID=69527554

Harley duce risers works great for me and it only requires about half a beer worth of work to install them. You have to grind or cut the little ring off on the bottom of the risers so they sit flat on your triple tree and you have to drill the mounting holes out to 1/2 inch and buy some grade 8 1/2 inch bolts to install them with. I also bought the interstate throttle housing so the throttle cables would come out the bottom instead of the top. That gave me enough length on the cables so I did not have to buy longer cables.

f6rider.....why don't you look at xf6-custom.com. look at his 4 inch risers...i have them on both of my bikes...yes they are 4 inch straight, but when mounted you have alot of cable room to play with, and all you have to do is turn the handlebars back toward you and they fit perfectly. i have had the others, and these do the pull back better, and more comfortable. just give daryl a call.

Have you tried a Throttle Rocker yet? Allows you to rest your grip and use the presure of your wrist instead to hold the throttle on.

Have a TR on the trike, and the Dragon had the Kury thingy on it. Didn't like the Kury much, but after having it for awhile, I prefer it over the TR.

+ 1 for what Goose Said. I have the 4 inch Pullback risers from XF6 and did not have to do anything for the cables and it fits Perfect!!!! I like them a whole lot better than stock !!!!

I bought these on eBay: +1, I don't think there is an easier or more cost efficient way to modify your risers than with these extentions.

i'm not big enough yet where i need a bigger bike. 5'9'' 225 29 inseam....these risers will do exactly what you are looking for them to do. they are 4'' straight risers, but when you get them on with the handlebars mounted, and you drop the bars down toward you...you will be amazed....there is plenty of play left in the cables, and you can have the bars right where you want with comfort.

I know how expensive all this crap is (I have a pile of mailers and UPS boxes in the basement waiting for spring), but if comfort is more important than money you may want to remember that you don't have to stay with the stock hadlebars and cables.
Several members here have posted threads showing other bars with totally different configurations on their bikes, from drag bars to Harley-type setups. Maybe a change in grip angles and bar width will help with the pain. Fred.
