Did a search but failed to find anything. I know it's already on here somewhere.

Just need a simple hook-up, and I would appreciate help. Thanks very much.

I know your probably looking for more details than this but here is some info and location pictures.
It is from my Multipoint upgrade thread, (the never ending story) crazy2

Well like most days, I did NOT get much accomplished today.
So here is what was taken care of.

I had to relocate just a little bit my 12volt socket, it was (and still is) located under the tank next to my Stebel air horn.
Here is what it looked like before.

Your going to have to imagine this just a little bit here, this is exactly the mounting location of the Stebel on the next step when I re-do the wires for the stebel I found a way I like the look of better than what I had started with on this project list.

You can see the bracket for the stebel still in place.

And here are a couple pictures of what I did to freshen up the 12volt weather proof socket and move it down a littel bit hidden back in a little farther and then bent the bracket to tilt it a little bit to make it a little easier to access.

I ended up actually attaching mine to a switched position on my auxilary fused power panel I installed on my long arse list of stuff done.

Here is another great location idea for you to consider especially if you have I/S,, I stole this idea from somebody elses thread, I did not clean up the post copy so you will have to scroll down and look at the pictures (sorry Cheesy) they installed  a 3 socket power plug setup from Walmart you can either (probably not suggested by most folks), but you can just wire it directly to the battery but please put in a fuse on the positive side of the wiring. Specifically look at pictures 4 & 5.

Hope som of this helps if not then let me know or just sit back and wait for others to chime in on how or where to mount and wire.

Here are the phots:

If you have bags, this has worked great for me. Run my heated cloths and charge the cell phone or computer while on trips.

All them fancy mounts look cool, but not with wires plugged in while riding.  Just connect up your power point under the seat and leave them laying in the tool kit area next to the battery (out of sight) then when you have to plug someting in, the wire just slips under the seat near the tank and no whipping in the wind....for cell phone charging while riding leave the whole phone under the seat plugged in

I like Powerlet products, (www.powerlet.com) here's mine. I made the bracket from aluminum angle.
