can't find the charger for my camera! they are of similar design to baker wings but clamp to the engine guard itself instead of the mounting bolt.

I'd go with the original Baker Air Wings if it was me.   
Personally, I like the way mine mouint on my Tourer.
I think someone said they had their pods crack on a I/State.
I'd call them and ask how the I/State mounts if that is what you have.
