Duct Tape and I hobbled home. We didn't make it over 50 mph.  His gear shifter broke when he ran into me, laid his bike over, bunged up his knee, smashed up my rear fender

... After i got stung in the rear by a wasp... Twice. Just another day in paradise     tickedoff tickedoff tickedoff

Hey Queen...

I hardly noticed your fender on the way home today...

As I was passing you at about 70 MPH and with you on the far right side of the lane, I swear you could hardly notice it...  Evil

Bees always find something sweet.

Sorry I missed all of you.  I was out in the Hill Country with the Gathering of the Guard.

Rode the three twisted sisters frontwards and backwards.  What a ride.

Managed to do 1053 miles for the weekend.

I love days like this on my 2000 Interstate with 103,000 miles.

One tank of gas:

Miles on tank:238.0   (and never hit reserve - still showed two bars on gauge)
Gallons to fill up:  5.394
Miles per gallon:   44.12309974

Your Highness

Glad you made it safely home.  I hated seeing that beautiful purple Harley damaged.

For those of us not at the crash site, what were the conditions and what can we learn so that such crashes don't happen in the future on group rides?  Since both of you are very experienced riders, what conditions caused this so that we look out for those?

Again, glad the injuries were not major and prayers for quick healing of Duct Tape's knee.

She explained what the conditions were to our table...  not sure I should or can repeat them  Grin

Something about, "Someone's head stuck up  Shocked <talk interrupted by the sound of chicken fried bacon crunchin in my ears as I chewed> "I want him to get a ticket...." <more crunching>

could only make out parts of it ...  I am sure that she can make corrections.

I'll ask the folks on the space station to keep an eye out for him.

I'd bet he was going a bit faster than 17,500mph when he left the atmosphere, so the chances are he left orbit and is half way to Mars now. Cheesy
