The gov. of the state of Washington signed into law a bill that outlaws profiling of motorcyclists by state troopers an local LOEs .Bikers can celebrate this during the motorcycle mountain jam in clark co. Wash this Saturday .Its about time somebody in the goverment dose something good for bikers. It also requires the Washington association of sheriffs an police chiefs an criminal justice traning commission to add a statement condemning motorcycle profiling to there existing policies banning racial profiling.

what are you taliking about?
Gold wingers and passengers who wear  matching clothes?
BMW guys who wear expensive clothes, full face, & OSHA colored vests?
Crotch rocket guys who do wheelies at 70+ on the interstates?
Harley riders who wear the uniform (and get 600 miles a year?)
Valk riders with a smile that won't go away?
What profiling are you talking about?

ABATE, AMA, & MRF rep.

Here in the great state of MI, certain counties are setting up their own "Motorcycle Only" checkpoints.
They are checking first for proper paper work, sobrriety, warrants, and "approved" helmets.

Just what is it that vilifies a motorcyclist and makes them less of a citizen than a automobile driver?

If a cyclist has been found to be non-compliant, the motorcycle is confiscated and the rider is fined and/or jailed.

This type of profiling must stop! ABATE, AMA, and the MRF are our only chance to fight this dicrimination. Get involved or become a sheep to slaughter.
