Six of us headed over to Hot Springs,NC, today. Thought
it might not be there after all these storms we've had
lately. Still there. We hadn't been there for more than a few
minutes when we decided to re-name it "Gnat Springs". Got
to be the gnat capitol of the USA! Herds of semi-ferocious gnats
were attacking anything that moved! Didn't take long for us to
get back on the road. Cruising along just fine headed towards
Erwin,TN and passed a Valk headed the other way, followed by
a Can-Am Spyder. Anybody here? This is the only pic I took the
whole day. I finally decided to try Pledge on the Valk. Works
pretty darn good!

talking about "Pledge", i saw a guy that had custom mahogany wooden hand grips!! they looked excellent!!  i'm a wood person, and i've got a large chunk of blood wood that i've had for about 9 years now, i think i've found my next projest!!

if i do it, i'll post pictures!!

oh, just about forgot, my daughters wear "bounce fabric sheets" for keeping gnats away from them when their playing softball.  believe it or not, they really work!!

I knew it worked for skeeters, never thought about gnats.
