I have a 2000 IS / 17 k miles.....no way that could be original tire as it appears 50% .......it is showing off center wear....which I recall reading about ( road crown & left turns)a year or so ago & accepted it for good info........Well now it'a trike( MOTOR TRIKE) & it's pulling to the right.....even on a flat road as Interstate 10.......after seeing the new guys tire question & refreshing my memory.....could that worn front tire be my problem?   thanks in advance Harry

if your trike is pulling to the right on a level surface..then it isn't set up correctly..take it back to the person that installed it and tell them..if they try to convince you it's the crown in the road..look them in the face and tell them bullcrap...heres how i solved my problem when my installer would'nt fix it..this is going to be lenthy so bear with me.

If you get under your trike your going to see heim joints under there..1 one each front of the ladder bar where the swing arm used to be. DO NOT TOUCH THESE.
Your going to have a heim joint on each connection where the ladder bars join up with the rear end.. now on closer inspection your going to see a diagonal bar and a cross bar about the middle of those ladder bars.

OK heres where you need to make your adjustments..right side sitting on the trike. you need to loosen the lower heim on the bottom of the rear end. remove the bolt. turn that heim out 2 turns and tighten everything back down.
Now since you made that adjustment you need to check those other 2 rods. the cross over and the diagonal. take your thumb and forefinger and put on those rods..if you cannot rotate it back and forth freely. then you need to lossen those up and either go in or out with the heims to lossen those up so they are free. once that is done tighten everything back up..go for a ride if it still puuls on a flat surface then those adjustment need to be done again..if you have any questions give me a call and i will walk you threw it..iv'e done several mortortrikes with the same problem..i even have fixed the bottoming out issue on the right side when motor trike refused to fix that. don't expect any help from the factory..cause they are useless. my number is 717-532-7518..seriously call me if your not sure..we can make your trike right..
