I sold my beloved Vulcan 1500 Classic Saturday.  The gentleman that bought it was in love with it since he saw it last year.  He is a friend of a good friend of mine and this will probably be his last bike.  It went to a good home so I'm happy for the bike and for him.

The same thing happened with my Harley and then my Meanstreak (also a very sweet Vulcan), after I got my first Valk.

I thought it would be fun to swap between bikes, but very soon, every time I went to ride I wanted the Valk.  So I sold the others.

Of course, this was so I could get my 2d Valk.

It's a disease I tell you.   crazy2

Jess, It is a disease; but one with a sure cure--riding the Dragon!

You mean you're not taking those MSF Honda Rebels out on the road???  Wink

I hear they get very good mileage?

When I instructed in the Air Force, I always began the classroom part with .... "Ladies and gentlemen, there are only two kind of riders, those that have fallen and those that are going to fall."   Old saying, but a good attention getter.

Unfortunately, the Rebels aren't licensed for the hwy!  We had 2 older than dirt codgers puul onto the range a couple years ago; both riding 250 Rebels!  Saddlebags, windshields and rode them everywhere.  They had gotten too old to ride bigger bikes but could handle the Rebels just fine.  I have never used that old saying.  I tell them they don't have to be a statistic if they learn and follow the techniques and principles they are introduced to.
